Cancellations and Substitutions
Cancellations, refund requests and requests to substitute attendees must be made by the individual event registrant and can be e-mailed to our Customer Service Department at CustomerService@OctoberResearch.com or call 330.659.6101 x 805.
- There is no charge to substitute attendees for the 2022 NS3 conference, but we must be notified prior to May 18, 2022
- We do not offer registration rollovers to a different event or year.
Please see the cancellation schedule below:
- Cancellation requests received on or before April 30, 2022 are eligible for a full refund minus a $150 processing fee.
- Cancellation requests received between May 1 and May 10, 2022 will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees paid.
- Cancellations received on or after May 11, 2022 and for no-shows, no refund will be provided.
Program Shift to a Virtual Event
If NS3 2022 is forced to move to a virtual-only event based on the state of Florida and local guidance regarding the pandemic, revised terms and conditions will be provided to registered attendees and sponsors. The safety of our attendees and event is our top concern.
Program Cancellation
In the unlikely event of program cancellation, October Research, LLC will refund 100 percent of registration fees paid. October Research, LLC assumes no liability for any penalty fees on airline tickets, deposits for hotel accommodations, or any other fees, charges, penalties or other incidental costs that a registrant might incur as a consequence of a program cancellation.
Safety & Code of Conduct
A code of conduct is a collection of rules and regulations that include what is and is not acceptable or expected behavior.
October Research, LLC has offered guidelines outlining steps that can be implemented to provide as safe an environment as possible when meeting in-person. Responsibility is shared equally among event organizers, the event venue and the event attendees.
Based on our common set of beliefs in the value of live event experiences we know to be true, as stakeholders we all have a role to play in the mitigation of risk. The code of conduct below is meant to serve as a reminder and inspiration to know that if we all collectively respect the significance of this contribution, we are by definition advocating for the well-being of our fellow global citizens and our industry.
What we are doing to keep everyone safe and healthy during NS3:
- We encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to attending NS3.
- Face masks are optional throughout the conference.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers and bottles are located throughout the hotel and on the conference floor.
Please check this page regularly for any changes regarding our policies based on the latest information and guidance from the CDC and local authorities.
Before Leaving Home
- Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), or your local health authority.
- Adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region you are traveling from.
- Evaluate your own health and that of people you are in close contact with; contact the meeting/event organizers if you have concerns.
- Stay home if you feel sick.
On-site During the Event
- Follow guidance from your local health authority, for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses including:
- Washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Covering your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues in the trash.
- Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Go to the event First Aid office (or equivalent) at any time, if you feel unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms and do not attend the conference in person.
